Pretty decent burger and one of the better burgers in the area. The workers were nice and I like that the menu is small so don't really have to get confused over what to get. I got the double hi ho it was good, but nothing to rave about.

4.5 stars from me! (I rounded up) I'll start with the customer service. Excellent. We visited from the east coast and the young man who helped us was patient, friendly, and had a great personality. It took my wife a while to decide and we did not feel rushed at all. Everybody in there was nice. The food was wayyy better than I expected. Perfectly cooked smashed pattys and excellent toppings. The flavor is something I can't describe, but burger lovers know it. A balance between savory umami meat and melted cheese with the perfect amount of bun. This is New Zealand wagyu beef, and at the prices listed, a phenomenal value. If they had dill pickles (sweet pickles on a burger??) it would be five stars lol. But who among us is perfect? Casual vibe, chill ambiance. This is my preferred style of dining, for lunch especially. Pay before you eat, sit down and get served, leave when you're done. Plenty of good burgers in the area bit Hiho is a sure thing.

Went here with my boyfriend after a beach day and we were so excited since we were soo hungry! Portion sizes were pretty good in my opinion and definitely filled us up. I will say that it all became rather pricey after each ordering a burger, fries, and shake. But I guess that's to be expected in Santa Monica. Still, I did really enjoy the burger and could tell that good quality ingredients were used. Something that I noticed was that though the meat patties were fantastic, it seemed like the buns were not up to par and did not meet the same standard. The staff was real friendly and the food came out quick. All in all, a nice place!

Food: I ordered 1.HiHo Double : Wagyu patties just melt in your mouth! So soft, so smooth, so good! 2. From Scratch Fries : Fresh, thick, warm and perfectly salted. Good Fries. Service : Excellent! Reasonable wait times and friendly staffs Ambiance : Clean and casual. It's a good affordable place to experience wagyu beef. I also appreciate that they are a no tipping establishment. I'm definitely a recurring customer.

I was looking for a place in Santa Monica to satisfy my craving for a good burger and I came across Hiho on Yelp. Boy! Oh Boy! I was not disappointed. They specialize in wagyu burgers. Their burgers are 100% grass-fed wagyu beef. Nowadays, it seems like every place advertises wagyu burgers on their menu. Hiho does wagyu justice. I ordered The Big Matty and it was one of the better burgers I've had in long time. The flavor was on point. The patty was seasoned perfectly and flavor of the onions along with the sauce made it a very satisfying

The hype is very well deserved. The patty is the star of the show - New Zealand Wagyu Beef, the quality of fat / au jus that render off the burger as you bite into it, it's almost impossible to describe how luxurious it is : it turns your hands into silk scarfs, incredibly decadent yet no non sense burger. Perhaps the very best cheeseburger I've had to date. 5 must visit stars.

Wagyu burgers and vegetarian options are available at this fast casual spot. It's a no-tipping establishment and there is a 16% service charge. Credit cards only (no cash accepted). Parking lot is available across with 90 minutes free. You order at the counter and then will receive a number. There are vegetarian options available. I got a vegetarian burger with fries and a Varlhona chocolate milkshake. Portions are smaller than what you may expect but the quality is better. I especially like the squishiness of the bun. The chocolate shake wasn't as rich as I'd like but the texture was creamy and thick. The four of us had just finished a hike so we needed a hearty meal. Overall, it is a casual spot that's good if you're trying to have a good quality, quick meal.

Solid burger/beer combo with a view. We found ourselves in Marina del Rey, and found this cheeseburger spot on yelp. We decided to walk up and be the first customers when they opened. They have a very streamlined menu, and you don't need to overthink it, go with the hiho double, and grab a beer if that is something you are into. The seating is outside and gives a beautiful view over the harbor. The service was very fast, they bring your food right to your table, and the manager came up to make sure everything was OK. Talk to your service from a casual dining restaurant. Oh, and cough up the extra for the ranch with fries! You won't be disappointed.
